Signs You Need Brake Service

Your brakes will show signs that they need to be repaired. You may notice one or more of these signs when your brakes are failing:

• Dashboard lights may come on and stay lit, including the BRAKE light, ABS light, or even your Check Engine light.

• You may see brake fluid leaking out onto the ground.

• You may notice a change in the way your brakes feel, such as pressing down further or taking longer to come to a stop.

• You may hear a noise when you apply the brakes, such as squealing, squeaking, or grinding.
