The Ford Expedition is expected to have multiple engine options. The base engine is a twin-turbo with a 3.5-liter capacity and six cylinders. This engine's output is projected to range from 380 horsepower to 440 horsepower, with the more robust power output based on the trim level you get.

Performance
The Expedition is also slated to have a speedy acceleration time for a vehicle of its size, which goes from zero-60 mph in six seconds. The Expedition can also tow up to 9,300 pounds, making it a class leader. The Ford will also have an independent rear suspension system, which gives it a smooth ride quality around Newark, NJ, and provides more loading space. Four-wheel drive is available on most trim levels but will come standard with the Timberline. All models use an automatic 10-speed transmission.
